At the Grand Hotel Baglioni

The Grand Hotel Baglioni was our home while in Florence. It is a lovely old structure that has been meticulously maintained. Although it is old, it is quite comfortable and very clean. It has a wonderful ambience that makes one wonder whether French and German spies from the world wars are still hiding in some out-of-the-way closet. The dining room was elegant, and often evening meals can be taken on the lovely rooftop garden. It gives a wondeful view of the whole of Florence.
