So Paul has asked us all to write some notes about the holiday. It’s hard to do as so much happened. It was an amazing trip
But I do struggle sometimes when we are one child down and now 2. It feels a step closer to the future when me and Paul are on our own. I have loved being with the twins and they are so amazing to be able to hang out endlessly together and just love it. They are such good sisters and friends but I know they missed their other sisters. Although they do get more of our attention and whatever they want, most of the time, when just the 2 of them. They are 2 very special people and it’s been a pleasure to spend this time with them. Even if they don’t want to wash up. We have managed to speak to Lily and Ruby everyday and a lot of the blog is for them so they can experience it too. We of course have purchased an insane amount of guilt gifts for them and have tried to include some of the things we have sampled while away. But as our girls grow up we will need to move forward and will be on our own more and more. They have promised me a week a year minimum so I will make them stick to this. So any trips like this are so important to us and we will keep making the most of them until it’s just the 2 of us. But Sweden has won our hearts as a magical place with amazing people who don’t want for much, have very little need for drama and mostly live a very simple life. We could all learn a thing or 2 from the Swedes and I hope we can take some of these things back to our day to day.
