Collie is an old coal mining town. Lovely murials through town. Great visitor centre. Some lovely old buildings. On the way here, we saw lots of rolling green hills, lush green grass, and fat cows. Reminds me of Kempsey. There were lots of vibrant roses, wildflowers, and grass trees along the road sides. We took a nice scenic drive along the river, very nice. Today, Melbourne Cup Day, after spending most of the day in Collie shopping and the boys betting at the pub, we came home and sat around the fire 🔥. We had 2 x kookaburras, 2 Red Wattle Birds, magpies, Blue Wrens, and 5 red tailed cockatos and ring neck parrots🦜. On the way home, we saw 10 emus.Read more
