Fukaya ➡️ Fukiage

🇺🇸 Short day and not a particularly picturesque route. In Kumagaya I passed a few festival floats from the Uchiwa-Matsuri, a festival of the Yasaka Shrine, where they carry floats around the city and meet up at the Main Station.
The last few kilometers were REALLY hard today and I twisted my ankle right before arriving at my Ryokan. I just hope it‘s not sprained so I can properly finish the last few days.

🇩🇪 Kurzer Tag und leider keine sonderlich fotogene Route. In Kumagaya bin ich an ein paar Festwagen des Uchiwa-Matsuris, eine Festivität des Yasaka-Schreins, bei dem Festwagen durch die Stadt gezogen werden und sich dann alle an der Hauptstation treffen.
Die letzten paar Kilometer waren heute SEHR anstrengend und ich bin kurz bevor ich am Ryokan angekommen bin umgeknickt. Ich hoffe nur, dass der Knöchel nicht verstaucht ist, sodass ich auch noch die letzten paar Tage richtig zu Ende bringen kann.Read more
