Markets this morning, then off to the WWII Secret Base, whre the Americans had a secret air base. Saw the Bomb Sight Vault that the Americans listed as a Dental Facility, where they stored the actually Bomb Sighter, no one knew what it was used for until 2012. The locals are still not talking about what went on out here. Onto the park for the Big Red Chair, cool Sculptures and the amazing Rainmaking Guns. This dude had a great idea back in 1902 that to break the drought, he'd fire 6 of these guns, over a kilometre apart, at 2 minute intervals which should discharge gas and set up vibrations in the clouds and make rain. Got a few drops and then a sprinkle but that was it. Blew a couple of them up when they tried again. So, that was the end of that.Leer más
