Rottnest

Wir haben ein paar sehr schöne, entspannte Tage auf Rottnest, einer Insel direkt vor Perth verbracht. Dort leben die süßen Quokkas und natürlich habe ich mich auch wieder am Quokka Selfie versucht. Es leben auch Goannas dort und einer von ihnen hat mich in den Popo gebissen, hat aber nicht weg getan. Außerdem gibt es wunderschöne Strände dort und ganz viele Hügel, was das Rad fahren anstrengend macht. Aber zum Glück konnten wir uns dann am Strand immer ausruhen. Diesmal haben wir zum ersten Mal gemeinsam dort übernachtet und die traumhaften Sonnenuntergänge und eine Mondfinsternis erleben können.

We spent a few very nice, relaxed day on Rotto, an island just next to Perth. The cute quokkas are living there and so I tried taking some Quokkas selfies. On the island live goannas and one of them bit me in the bum (it didn't hurt).
There are the most beautiful beaches on the island and many hills so that I was very exhausted from cycling. But we always had nice breaks on the beach. This time we stayed for the first time over night and enjoyed some great sunsets and a lunar eclipse.Read more
