Churches - Modena & Bologna

The first church I visited in Italy was the Modena Cathedral & I couldn't believe the beautiful interior with all the marble, gold & trimmings along with the stunning art. I've obviously seen heaps of churches since the first & they all have the same extravagance but I wanted to do a couple of posts on them to help me remember them later. The Bologna Cathedral had security guards as it contains a statue some Muslims find offensive & the church has had bomb threats in the past .
