Split & up the Coast

After leaving our yacht we spent the morning going through the Palace in Split which was built by the Romans, it was really impressive & so pleased we went through it. The little church especially was beautiful, inside they were setting it up for a wedding that day. The baptistry had a ceiling with faces of every emotion, common in Roman times. Visited a market & got some supplies, then we headed up the coast on the local roads. Was really cool to get away from the tourists, found a lovely spot for a swim & bought some olive oil from an old guy at road side stall. He couldn't speak any English but his oil was BEAUTIFUL. Dinner was a massive plate of chips & schnitzel! Lucky we'd had a Greek salad for lunch🤣.Les mer
