Lindeman lake - the Beatty brotherhood

A peine de retour de la BC Intérieure, nous repartons dans la vallée de la rivière Fraser pour une journée avec Ryan (le frère de Meagan) et Kayla (sa copine). Notre destination, le lac Lindeman, se trouve dans les montagnes de Chilliwack, sur la bordure sud de la vallée, tout près de la frontière avec les US. Courte rando qui monte abruptement jusqu'au lac puis longe son flanc ouest, afin de gagner son extrémité Nord qui offre une vue imprenable sur un paysage automnal. La nuit tombe déjà et nous repartons vers Chilliwack pour nous arrêter chez Reaper, une ferme qui, chaque année, installe une maison hantée dans une grange et un labyrinthe dans un champ de maïs ! Frissons garantis !

Freshly arrived from Interior BC, we leave again for a day-trip to Lindeman lake with Ryan and Kayla. The lake is located on the south-east side of the Fraser Valley, close to the border with the US. A short hike that steeply climbs then follows the shore of the lake and we can enjoy the sight of its calm surface in its Fall setting. The night is chasing us already and we go back to Chilliwack to stop at Reaper's for their haunted house. A good scare for us!Read more
