Astoria, OR - Welcome to Oregon

A pleasant welcome in Oregon State with a "mini Portland" in Astoria. We hit up many breweries including Buoy Brewery (with sealions), Astoria Brewery (yummy clam chowder), and Reach Break Brewery (food trucks galore). We also found a vintage looking whiskey bar called Blaylock's and had the best Manhattan. Oregon is looking pretty good so far (except for the endless rain).

L'état de l'Orégon nous accueille chaleureusement en arrivant à Astoria, une "mini-Portland" tant l'atmosphère y est semblable. Nous visitons plusieurs brasseries: Buoy Brewery (qui héberge des phoques sous ses pilotis), Astoria Brewery (délicieuse chaudrée de palourdes) et Reach Break Brewery (modeste rade sous la pluie mais qui doit rassembler toute la ville sur son parvis l'été). Sur le point d'aller au lit, nous trouvons un bar à whisky rétro très classe (le Blaylock's) où nous partageons un excellent Manhattan cocktail. C'est sûr, l'Orégon marque des points ce soir, malgré une pluie toujours battante.Read more
