Nájera -> 21.5km -> Santo Domingo
We've arrived at the chicken town! Haven't seen them yet, but can hear them through my window. Beautiful walk along rapeseed fields and Rioja vines. Painful ankle,Baca lagi
Logroño -> 28km -> Nájera
Today was a challenging one - a second long day in a row. Pushing myself was necessary, especially the last 2 km when you just don't see the end of it! Aching from theBaca lagi
Los Arcos -> 27km -> Longroño
Ouch - that's about the best way to put it. It was long, it was challenging but we made it! Logroño is a great city with amazing wine - we crossed into La Rioja. GreatBaca lagi
Estella -> 21km -> Los Arcos
Although the walk was shorter than the other days, I feel the third day in my legs. Tired, but happy to have made it so far! I will need a big paella and a glass ofBaca lagi
Puente la Reina -> 23.5km -> Estella
Yesterday's enthusiasm and energy have clearly gone down. Second day was bound to be more difficult, I feel my legs in places I didn't know could hurt. Arrived atBaca lagi
Pamplona -> 25km -> Puente la Reina
First day walking, and what a walk it was. Beautiful views, some hills, sore shoulders but safely arrived at my first albergue! Rest time before dinner
Arrived at Pamplona, barely audible, but motivated nonetheless, I started the preparation for tomorrow's departure:
