Back in Spain where the people are emotional expressive and noisy. Also not so many English speakers. Preferred Portugal where there lots of English spoken and the people have a calmer, milder manner. Though I must admit both here and Portugal I've noticed a lot of the big advertising boards are in English. Possibly because of so many English speaking tourists here. So today we explored Seville mainly focusing on the castle, cathedral and the big central palazzo where families gather and there is entertainment and little candles boats to hire. I'll have to do this in two parts cause I've so many cool photos to share and I don't know what to leave out. We were told the city's coulour of choice is Ocre and rust and it is certainly obvious. To start the day we visited the Moorish castle which became a palace when the Christians kicked the Muslims out. The Roman build aquaduct is used for some walls. We've seen lots of castles but for me this is favourite. I just love the intricate lace like patterns. .Even though it doesn't have the colourful tiles of other castles each room we went into just took my breath away. Really it's hard to capture the wow in photos hense some close up shots and video. Also I have a thing about decorative doors you might have noticed. Another highlight of the Palace was the garden and pools.Read more
