NINH BINH DAY TRIP

Got up super early and headed to Ninh Binh to explore the sights. We got the bus from Hanoi at 6am (still drunk) and sat on it for about 3.5hrs, got to the first stop and rode some bikes around a heap of different temples. Learnt about the rich history and how to be respectful of the culture. Had an all you can eat buffet lunch, got some ‘protective wear’ for our boat ride in the river and through the caves. The pointy hat is to protect our heads from hitting the very low caves. Then on the last stop we hiked up to the top of the lookout, it was beautiful, breath taking, mostly because of the stair but also because of the sights and very high up!
