    Day 1 Merridin overnight - long drive through the wheatbelt. Lots of cows, sheep, grain (likely wheat) & canola.
    Also a dog cemetry with 4ft dog statue outside Corrigin. 495km
    Day 2 Woorlba station stopover overnight. Straight roads & road trains (tail wind helped!), skylab museum, and RFDS runway as part of the highway. 708 km
    Day 3 rain showers throughout the day. Leigh drove the 90 mile straight, and it rain - showers on/off from there. Heavy at times. Stopped at 81 peg rest area overnight. 568km
    Day 4 on road by 7.30. Nullabour for shower & breakkie. Whales watching at Head of the Bight and onto Streaky Bay for motel & pub meal 538km.    Læs mere
