Britt Coffee Tour

After a dreadful day of waiting on Lara’s bag to finally arrive at the airport (with no luck!) we made the strenuous decision to take matters into our own hands and retrieve the bag ourselves. It took some arguing with several airport employees but in the end we got it!

Since we had to push back our original plans, we decided to visit a coffee factory. We learned about where coffee comes from and how many tiny beans are needed to make one delicious cup of coffee. Did you know that all coffee beans get hand picked by hundreds of workers each day? They have to fill a basket which carries up to 12kg and only receive 3$ per load!

Our tour guides made the experience incredibly interesting and fun while we learned some more Spanglish along with fascinating facts about Costa Rican mythical creatures.Читать далее
