• Rhino Trekking

    We worked with Save the Rhinos Trust (SRT), the local conservancy and several of their rhino rangers to venture into the desert and over a couple days follow clues to trek and finally see these two beautiful creatures. The only free roaming black rhinos in the world.

    Thanks to Ranger Michael, SRT director Martin, and Guide Jari for an incredible experience. They work tirelessly and make great sacrifices to protect these magnificent creatures. SRT will even safely cut the horns to prevent poaching as you see here.

    When I asked Michael what motivates him to do such a difficult job, he smiled, looked at me sheepishly, and said “it’s because I love them!”
