Reading

The St James Way- Reading to Silchester
Started our morning in Reading at St James Church and finished 14 lonnnggg miles later in Silchester at St. Mary the Virgin Church. We enjoyed our stops at the Cunning Man and the Fox and Hounds pubs and a visit with Rev Dr Peabody at the 13th Century Church, St Mary's (Sulhamstead) which included the ringing of the church bells (harder then you might think). In between stops we took in the beautiful English countryside, enjoyed the wildlife and livestock, and weathered record high temperatures with humidity and survived.
