Warnambool VIC

Upon arrival in Warrnambool we settled into the BIG4 Discovery Holiday Park, which turned out to be a great base for exploring the area.

One of the highlights was visiting Middle Island, made famous by the movie Oddball and the fantastic Mareema Project, where Maremma dogs were used to protect the local little penguin colony. A great initiative.

The kids also thoroughly tested out the awesome adventure playground in town, including the giant maze where we made several half-hearted attempts to lose them unsuccessfully.

We finished the day with a great scooter ride along the foreshore in the late afternoon sunshine before heading back to the van for the evening.Okumaya devam et
