Nostalgia much!

It’s been 30+ years since I’ve been here, and apart from some new subdivisions heading in and more permanent park residents, Valla Beach Resort is still very much as I remember from a kid.

After a quick set up we headed over the ‘new’ footbridge to the beach - only to discover enormous 4+ metre waves barrelling into shore. The constant RFS aerial patrol confirmed swimming was not an option!

Instead, a leisurely stroll along the beach to the lagoon entrance, where we enjoyed a swim and explored the rocky outcrop at Valla Beach.

We ended a genuinely Good Friday with fish and chips at Nambucca Heads.もっと詳しく
