Caesarea

Caesarea by the Mediterranean Sea is a lovely place. The harbour was extended by Herod and many public places added like a theatre and hippodrome. It was destroyed by earthquakes over time.
We were to go snorkelling in the harbour to see the ancient ruins but it was too rough - unusual I'm told. Disappointing, but still had a lovely afternoon. Lots of art and nice shops!Läs mer
