Sitges and Peniscola, Spain

After breakfast on La Ramblas, we headed to the car hire shop and picked up our brand new VW Touareg. Bigger than we thought but comfortable for a road trip.

Our first stop was for lunch at a coastal town called Sitches only 45 minutes out of Barcelona. The main esplanade of Sitches is lined with beautiful buildings, cafes and tapas bars. After a quick bite to eat, Alex and I explored the old town. The old town sat behind a grand, ocean front church. The narrow streets were lined with white washed buildings and houses.
