Another travel day.

I always believe that the journey is often more spectacular than the destination sometimes. This was one of those trips. We left Lima quite early and hopped on a flight to Cusco. We were met by our guide Saulo and give park passes and instructions for the next 4 days. Our wonderful driver Wilbur then drove us to our next destination, Urumbamba. (Don’t trust my spelling). A rest for the rest of the day for me. Sandra has gone for a walk.

The car ride down, in a most luxurious car, was spectacular. Gawking at the locals as we went past and spectacular scenery where we were lucky enough to stop and take photographs. Tomorrow is a tour with a small group so expect more photos of Inca ruins and lots of scenery.Read more
