Drove from Kilchrun through towards Peter Scott’s hometown near Glasgow. Mugdock! Lovely area. See why Peter loves it so much. Just like Belli Park. No shops, no pubs but absolutely beautiful houses and farms. Photos don’t do it
Arrived in Ayr last night. Too tired and cold to do much.
Went out to a lovely restaurant for dinner. Italian, Nonna style.
TravelerAlthough Peter didn’t grow up in Mugdock as such his mum and sister moved there after his dad passed away when Peter was only 21 so it became his 2nd home. All my visits to Scotland over the years have centred around Mugdock and yes it’s a beautiful area. So close to Glasgow but so peaceful. His sister & brother in law are still there in one of the houses in the old Stables opposite this photo!
