After having to chase David and Simon about passports and nobody else planning, I've decided to bring James instead.
Within 24 hours of asking James to come, it was all booked!
It's so nice to have that weight off my shoulders and I can no sleep properly.

Happy Paris Day!

The day is finally here!
James is coming around 5:25am so dad can take us to the train station at 5:30am.
Our train to St Pancras is at 5:48 so we have a good hour to get through passports etc when we get to London.
On the train to St Pancras It was almost empty.
We walked fast through customs and passports.
When we went to the Duty Free shop I got a book called "the little book of Paris"
We made it to Paris at around 12:20 and found our uber easily.Read more

We Have Arrived

We arrived just in time for lunch.
We saw the Effiel Tower on the way to our hotel.
We unpacked and had a light lunch in the hotel bar.
I had a ceaser salad with chicken, egg and bacon.

Sightseeing

When we got our energy back it was time to see the sights!
15 minutes from our hotel (Novotel) was the mighty Eiffel Tower.
The weather was grey when we first arrived but the sun soon came out just in time for the Big Bus Tours, we saw lots of historic places like Notre Dame and Rue Galande,
We even drove past a Disney store, the bus had different stops so you could hop on and off so of course I went to the store and got a Steamboat Mickey and Minnie and a big key.
I also got some Paris magnets for a couple of friends and a mini Eiffel for my travel shelf.Read more

Dinnertime

We were early for our dinner at a Michelin restaurant called 20 Eiffel so we walked around the Eiffel Tower more and came across a guy who loved my colourful bandana and drew a cartoon of me, he even added a countdown to my Disneyland trip,
After he finished we continued to walk and saw a girl with a vintage camera, we took a couple of pictures and it was like we were in a French newspaper, because we didn't have any change she gave us them for free as a gift,

Riverboat Cruise

After dinner we could do one more thing before calling it a day,
We went on a river cruise along the river Seign.
We didn't know if we would make it because we were so busy today but we're glad we got to see it.
By the time the cruise was coming to an end the sun began to set, it was pink and beautiful and the Eiffel Tower lit up.
Everything in Paris is beautiful
We made it back to our hotel at about 10:30 but chilled out till about 11 before we went to bed.Read more

Both of us didn't sleep very well that night but that didn't stop us from looking forward to the day.
We sneezed till about 9am before we got dressed and went down to breakfast.
I of course had some cheese, tomatoes and a little croissant.

Hard Rock Cafe

After lunch we just chilled out in our hotel room for an hour or so before ordering an Uber to take us to our only plan for the day.
We booked a table at the Hard Rock Cafe for 1:30 but arrived really early so we looked around the gift shop, I got pin and a tshirt.
Luckily they let us in at about 1pm.
They played Paramore, Spice Girls, MCR, Fall Out Boy and even Trixie Matel.
We both had a Twisted Mc n Cheese which was lovely but had to take some home with me.
After lunch we still didn't know what to do.Read more

Walking and Wondering

After lunch we walked around the shops for a bit and walked down an alley way with shops of both sides, it reminded us of Diagon Alley.
We wondered around a little bookstore that had a little English section.

Home Sweet Home

We arrived back at home at around 11pm.
The second I put my Hard Rock cafe bag on the stair, Buttercups face was in it!
She missed me, I also missed her.
Dad said he was proud of me because I arranged this from beginning to end.

I did speak some French while we were there, only "bonjour, merci, au revoir, sil vous plait"
So that's better then nothing.
We had a drink from a little confidence store and spoke the whole transaction in french which is cool.Read more
