    So...Its Happening

    June 3, 2023 in England ⋅ ☀️ 16 °C

My family trip to Disneyland Paris has been cancelled because of personal family reason so I'm going to Birmingham for a couple of days to visit a friend (Shona suggested it) and fangirl over Peaky Blinders.
I have to get 2 trains, one to St Pancras and one from Euston to Birmingham.
The big thing for me is that I'm doing this trip SOLO!
At the moment im excited and looking forward to exploring the city and seeing my friend.
My parents are proud about how independent I'm being.

  • London

    June 29, 2023 in England ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C

After I got off the train in London, I opened my Google Maps to see where I was going to my next train.
Unfortunately I got a bit lost and had to call Shona.
Luckily I made it just in town for my train because the second I sat down and got my book out, the train started moving.
I spent the whole hour and 20 minutes reading and funny enough so did the girl next to me.

  • Finally Here!

    June 29, 2023 in England ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C

Shona waved at me as I made my way into the main station, ran up to her and hugged her then it was off to lunch!
We walked in the lovely hot sun to a Korean restaurant called Miss Korea.
It was empty and I had beef Bulgogi and Korean pear juice.
    Both was lovely.
We got onto the bus and made our way to ALDI to get a few bits.
We made it home for 2:15 and just sat, listened to music and chatted.
We had a Chinese takeaway before settling down for the evening.
Shona is proud of me that I made it all the way here and so am I!

  • Zoo

    June 30, 2023 in England ⋅ ☁️ 10 °C

We walked to the zoo and waited for John to join us.
We walked around the small zoo and looked at the otters, red pandas, lemurs etc, it rained quiet hard.
It was nice that John joined us, then we then got the bus to an Indian restaurant, it was nice but filling and the nan bread was huge!

We made it home at about 7:30,
We walked around 7 miles so we were glad to make it home.
I definitely need to carry my tote bag as well as my backpack when I head home tomorrow.
