Last adventure of the year and its a good one!
Annie and I are going to Port Lympne to stroke Rhinos and feed the Leopards.
We were going to feed the Rhinos and wolves but they are all booked but I'm happy with the outcome!
Gareth has very kindly offered us a lift so he is picking me up at 10:15 and picking Annie up at 10:30.
I hope it doesn't rain today but I'm excited to see what the day brings!Read more

We had it to the Rhino meet up point about half an hour early so we just took some pictures and chatted.
There was six of us all together and I managed to step into a bog so my shoes went completely black.
We met one of the boy Rhinos who was very friendly and loved all the attention.
We then walked into an indoor bit and met two more Rhinos, one even showed abit of his stomach for bell rubs.
They are lovely animals and so gentle
By the time everyone went their separate ways it wsd talk to walk down for lunch.Read more

Time for the Leopards

After lunch we had about 10 minutes to walk up what felt like 100 hills to get to our meeting point for feeding the Leopards.
I was very out of breath by the time we made it but luckily we were the only ones that fed them which made it very special.
We had tongs with the meat on (old horse meet) so we could feed them safely.
They reached their paws above their heads.Read more

When we finished doing the 2 main things we came to do, we looked around at all the other animals.
The male lion was hawling(?) quiet loud because he was alone.
We saw some tigers, monkeys, other cats, wombats.
By the time we finished looking around it was starting to get dark so we texted Gerath to pick us up while we looked round the giftshop.Read more

Back Home Again

I got myself a little rhino necklace as a memento and then we headed home.
I got home around 5pm.
I've had a lovely time and made some fun memories.
I got a couple of Polaroid pictures of the Rhinos.
