I'm going to see Marilyn-The Exhibition, I've been a fan of hers since I was 18/19 years old.

Time to see Marilyn!

When I got to London, I jump straight into a taxi and off I went to see my Lovely Marilyn.
The Arches were warm but I didn't care because I was taking in everything that was in front of me.
I saw clothes, scripts, books etc all well kept.
I liked that they played clips and had some of her quotes on the wall as well.
They had a walk of fame with her films on the stars and at the end of the hall was her handprints from the Chinese Theater.Read more

Gin Time!

There was alot of stuff in a small space so it only took me about 45 minutes to get round, I did go round a couple of times just in case I missed anything and to read everything.
The only things that were replicas were her beautiful gold dress and her JFK dress, still beautiful to see!
I went to the gift shop and got a lot of stuff because of course I did haha.
Now time for some gin before I decide where to go for lunch.Read more

On My Way Home

After lunch I had some time to kill so I went into WH Smiths.
I arrived at my platform at 2:30 so I'm ready to board my train at 3:07.
I've had a lovely, memorable day seeing personal stuff from Marilyn and easy transport.
I got home at 4:15, good to get home before it got dark and I didn't need to rush anything.Read more

When I got out of the taxi, I walked around St Pancras trying to find an Italian restaurant called Carluccios.
I walked in the opposite direction but I soon found it next to the famous statue of the couple.
I had some lovely pasta and a cola, paid the bill and now wait for my 3:07 train to take me home.Read more

I had an amazing time, shorter day than I expected but saw lots of cool things.
Got lots of nice stuff to remember the day and the food, gin and transport were no problem at all.
