Kanyaka Homestead Ruins

Next stop was Kanyaka Station a must see on the loop.
Up to 70 families once lived and worked. Sadly the owner Huge Proby drowned in the Willochra Creek in 1852. Its was then brought by John Phillips who constructed a 16 room homestead and many other huts and buildings for all the families.
