Monastery tour of Montserrat. Located up on top of a unique mountain. It was burned by Nepoleon and the Nazis and was rebuilt.
Montserrat Valley Trail ride

Included with my tour of Montserrat was a trail ride in the valley below. The scenery was stunning. Mariposa was a gentle mare with lots of winter coat to keep her warm. The winter here is chilly.

Started this morning with a tour through the original Barcelona city. There is so much history here. Our tour guide told many stories of the buildings and streets. Fascinating.

The Mila family hired Gaudí to build this home. Then they wanted to fire him. He had his own ideas and refused to change his plans. At the time it was very out of the ordinary.
