Swartberg pass

This morning when we woke up it was still raining so we decided to start the morning relatively relaxed and left towards the Swartbergpass at the end of the morning. According to the forecast the weather would get a bit better in the afternoon so with that hope we started driving the pass hoping for some beautiful views. Unfortunately it kept raining at a slow but steady pace and the fog only seemed to be getting only worse and worse the further we drove onto the pass. That's why we decided to turn around as soon as we reached the top because the road was quite dangerous with the wet, steep dirt road and barely any sight because of the dense fog. We drove back to Oudtshoorn and spent the rest of the day in and around the accommodation.Les mer
