Checked in at 4:30am for the 7:40 flight to Ft Lauderdale. Landed at 11:15am, caught a cab to The Drift Hotel. Parked our luggage and walked for a couple hours. Checked in to the hotel at 3 and crashed for a quick nap. Got to the hotel about 7 hours earlier than the original itinerary. Had dinner at the Casablanca restaurant. It was good.
