Our final day in Chiang Rai saw us cycling through the countryside. We took the back roads past rice fields, rubber plantations and small villages. There were some hilly bits and enjoyed flying down the hills more than the uphill sections! We arrived at our lunch stop after 26kms. We were lucky that we had a Singaporean mother and son on the ride with us and we were chatting so much that we didn't notice the distance.
After resting we shouted ourselves coffee and cakes at the cat cafe near our hotel.Read more

TravelerThe lunch stop was the end of the trip and then transported back to town in a car (thank goodness). The cat cafe was hysterical. About 15 cats draped around the cafe with customers playing with them. Very lucky pussy-cats.
