Kalamatan calamities

The less said about Kalamata the better!
From booking the wrong days to having our washing trapped in the washing machine on a never ending cycle, everything seemed to go wrong. My cash card was swallowed by the cash machine. Fortunately I was able to get it back but it took more than an hour sitting around the bank and then a race against time to run home for my passport before the bank closed for the weekend. And to top it off the door onto the balcony jammed so the last piece of washing hanging out (my undies) had to be abandoned. We didn't want to disturb our host again after she had to come around and fix our washing machine woes.
We were glad to leave town. The olives were just like you would expect them to be. Kalamatan!Read more
