Epidavros day trip

Not far from Nafplio is the ancient site (4th century BC) of Epidavros; a sanctuary for healing. There's not much left of the sanctuary except for one of ancient Greece's finest and most intact theatres. The acoustics are so good that you can hear a pebble drop on the stage when sitting up on back row ( as demonstrated by the people standing on the stage in the photo).Read more
