It's early morning at the Ottawa airport on April 1, 2017. There is snow in the ground. Just before taking off, the airport grounds crew does a de-icing operation on the plane's wings and tail.

The green stuff you see on the wings is what was sprayed on the plane by the de-icing crew. It flies away during take off.
As soon as you get above the clouds, you can see the sunrise.

Brian picked me up at the Myrtle Beach airport. He had been in Wilmington, NC for 3 weeks before I arrived.
We had lunch at Art Burger & Sushi, then went walking on the boardwalk.

It's so nice to see green everywhere!! I love seeing the trees in bloom. What a change from Ottawa scenery!
