We decided to be true travelers and wandered the streets of Athens in search of Lycabettus Hill at the Hottest time of the day!
After a long rest at the top of Lycabettus, we wandered through the National Gardens enroute to the Plaka shopping district.

Nestled in the shadows of the Acropolis, Sabbas rooftop restaurant was where it's at. Delicious food, great atmosphere, reasonable priced, and the best view of the Acropolis.
After dinner, we took in the night life and did more wandering... The cool of the night made it very enjoyable.
We made the early morning g trek up to the Acropolis and it was still crawling with tourists. We wandered through the ancient artifacts and just enjoyed the views and the ancient soil.
This is the very new state of the art museum solely dedicated to the Parthenon. I tagged along with an English speaking tour and it made for a very interesting visit.
