St. Michaelis Kirche / Der Michel

We visited the Cathedral of St. Michaels, the crypt and the bell tower. The highlight was the organ performance; except somehow every piece ended very loud and angry. Was it the spirit of Mahler?

After the Cathedral tour, we went back to Haffen city to catch the ferry along the Elba River. We then took a leisurely stroll back to the city while stopping at a beach house for drinks.
We met Pia and Jannick and the rest of the Zapps at a restaurant in the Portuguese quarters for our final dinner together. We had hamburgers in Hamburg!! 🍔
After dinner, Jens toured us through the red light district of Hamburg. Good thing the boys were busy catching Pokémons on Pia's phone to notice the other sights...
We stumbled upon this little town on the way to Heidelberg. It was a quaint lil old town with a beautiful cathedral and an old castle at the top of the hill.
We arrived at Clara's house and Anne welcomed us warmly. Her lasagne was Da best!
Anne and Clara took us on a walking tour along the Philosopher's Way. We had excellent views of the river Neckar, the castle and the old bridge.
This is a 200 year old bridge, first bridge to cross the Neckar.
There were many wedding parties today in the Altstadt.
