Exploring venice

Today I was a proper tourist wandering round taking hundreds of photos and buying too many things that say venice.
I went to s. Maria and St Marks Square as well as many different places in between. Even lit two candles for Grandpa and Emma!!
Today was the start of the carnival which happens every year for just short of a month and there was a parade in the main canal and there was all sorts of people in costumes and masks. I thought I would join in so brought a mask to !!!
Got to admit a tad disappointed there was only one boat in the parade 😕Read more
