Gateway RV - La Verkin, UT (5/4-5/10)

Our time in Las Vegas went by fast, but we gotta get on the road and headed north. Our next stop is La Verkin, Utah just outside of Zion national Park.

On today’s drive day, we left Nevada and drove through the farthest north west corner of the state of Arizona. From there, we entered the Virgin River Gorge, and crossed into Utah.

The Virgin River Gorge is a canyon located in northwest Arizona, carved by the Virgin River, and it runs between St. George, Utah, and Beaver Dam, Arizona. It is known for its stunning geological features, recreational opportunities, and as a popular route along Interstate 15.

The campground is just 30 minutes from the entry gate into Zion and we have a lot of adventures planned for the six days we’re here.Read more
