    Scouts lookout hike part 2

    We took some time at the top to catch our breath and to watch all these crazy people hike on Angels Landing.

    Angels Landing is only a half a mile, but you are literally walking on the razorback edge of the mountain. While the park service put in some chains for people to hold onto. It’s not much there and when you try to pass someone everybody’s trying to hold the chain at the same time. There’s no way I would ever hike this. Actually, someone just fell off and died about three weeks before we got here.

    The hike back down was easier, although at the bottom of Walter‘s wiggles, my knees were starting to feel it. The views were even better on the way down because the sun was just a little bit higher in the sky, and you had a great view looking down into the valley.

    After hiking all of this, we decided we wanted to do one more hiking because we were all feeling pretty good so we headed back onto the bus to go to another stop to hike the Emerald pools more about this in the next post.    Read more
