• Kolob Canyon in Zion

    May 8 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 75 °F

Today we headed to Kolob Canyon in Zion national Park. This is on the far northwest edge of the park and you can only get to this section of the park by driving all the way around to a separate entrance. It is not connected to the rest of the park.

This is a small area and not many people visit it so it was nice to get away from all the crowds, but you can tell that they don’t spend a lot of money on the upkeep in the section of the park either

There was a very short 5 mile scenic drive and at the end of the drive we did a short 1 mile hike. The hiking path very good shape, but it was still a nice little hike for our last day in Zion.
