After that short section, I had to head up all the switchbacks. Not nearly as many switchbacks as we did on Walters wiggles in Zion, but doing these switchbacks at 8000 feet still kick my butt.

I started my hike at 6:30 when the sun rose and by 930 - 6 miles later and 1300 feet of elevation gain I was spent and done. It was an awesome experience. I’m so sad that Mike was not there with me to see it all and I missed him on the hike. But I’m glad I went by myself and did it anyway it was an awesome experience.
