    It was a quick stop over in Snowville and we were on our way to Idaho. We are headed to Caldwell which is just West of Boise. Along the way, I actually convinced Mike to stop and see the Shoshone Falls. We have some friends that live in Boise that we will be visiting, and they gave us all the insider information about how to stop at this area along the way with the RV. Our friends that we are traveling with, Mark and Barbara also wanted to see the Falls so we decided to do it.

    We got off the interstate and parked at a very big mall that is half empty, so there was tons of parking spaces. Our Boise friends told us that they are letting water out further up the river so the falls were really flowing great. They looked fabulous.. Shoshone Falls, located on the Snake River in Idaho, is 212 feet tall, making it higher than Niagara Falls and often referred to as the "Niagara of the West."

    Our insider information also told us to check out the evil Knievel jump site. This is where he tried to jump the snake river, back in 1974 but was unsuccessful. The ramp that they used is still there. Well, at least all the dirt from the ramp and several pieces of concrete where the actual ramp was attached.
