• Waterfall day part two

    June 13 in the United States ⋅ ☁️ 48 °F

Next, we headed over to the brink of the lower falls. We clearly remember doing this little hike to the viewpoint when we were here 10 years ago. On that day 10 years ago, it was snowing and we had to walk down the 600 feet on a icy paved path. When we got to the bottom. The snow was snowing upwards instead of downwards due to the draft from the waterfall. It was something to see that day. It was much more enjoyable today. It was less scary, walking down and much warmer standing by the waterfall.

After that, we stopped at a few more viewpoints along the river, but the views were not as good as they were closer to the falls.

We also stopped at Tower Falls, which is at the north end of the park. You couldn’t get very close to the falls, but it was still neat to see.
