• Ride to Cody, Wyoming

    Today we had a nice little ride to Cody, Wyoming. Along the way we saw several little waterfalls coming out of the rocks inside the national park. Once we get outside the national park, we rode alongside the Shoshone river.

    Because Yellowstone is at 7700 feet elevation and Cody is only at 5000 feet elevation, Once we left the national park the terrain changed. The rocks were kind of interesting. It reminds me of the formations of the hoodoo’s and Bryce Canyon, except the color was dark brown.

    We also passed alongside the Buffalo Bill Reservoir just outside of Cody. The water was a pretty teal color. The high today was 78 and it was beautiful.
