Cummins Service-Billings,MT (7/7-7/8)

Next stop is Billings, Montana for our 5000 mile oil change on the rig. We have a small oil leak and we had a really good mechanic. He was able to diagnose exactly where it was coming from. The leak is from a wiring harness and we will get it fixed when we get to Michigan. It is not a major leak and the mechanic advised just fixing it when we get to our home base. Otherwise the oil change went well and the engine looks good.

While we were waiting we headed over to Fuddruckers for lunch. We used to go here in Tucson often. It has been a long time since we had this and the burgers we just as good as we remembered.

From here we are going to Cannonball it across tornado alley to Michigan. Mike has several more races to work. It’s a 1500 mile drive and a big heat dome is developing in the west, so we want to stay ahead of the heat.Read more
