Thilanka hotel in Kandy

Today we went to a gem factory and museum, I ended up buying a elephant pendant with moonstone and a white sapphire in it with the band included, which is lovely! Faye went back to try persuade her fiancé to get an emerald 😂😂 a few people bought some bits! Not photos though as it was prohibited! But it was amazing seeing how they cut the stones and learn how they find them in Sri Lanka! We then we to the botanical gardens which were absolutely amazing, so glad we went! Now just having a relaxed afternoon before the tea plantation and a 5 hour train journey 😫( but the bus is taking our bags so at least we don't have to carry them!!!!)Meer informatie
