    On the hunt to find turtles!We met John (from Brisbane) on the ferry ride over; he joined us on our little expedition..It's really great to get (safely) close to the water again!The Hunting Party makes a plan to find turtles!Busted! We were beyond the bouy markers & were (gently) asked to return to the designated area.So off we go.Along the way, we found a turtle!We returned to the bay later in the day. It's hard to believe how much the tide dropped!That line along the bottom of the pic shows where the water WAS earlier.The water was up to that far left tire mark earlier in the day! (ie. at high tide)this was all kayak-able territory earlier . . .Low tide moved the shoreline back 40 feet; we were kayaking where those people are standing!Walking in the shallow water (ie. <2ft) it's surprising what you findSee the ray?
