Le Mans

Arrived and got a spot in the Aire by the old city walls. Walked up the steep ramparts to find a lovely lunch in the town square. Lovely medieval grid. Got rather wet so back to the van to dry off!

The medieval grid sits high above the town and port. Joan of Arc was held prisoner here in 1430. Lots of other history and interesting buildings.
TravelerIt’s a shame that you couldn’t get in the Aire, but good that you found a spot close to town. I love Honfleur, one of my favourite places 😍
