The countdown to Christmas

The last month or so in the run up to Christmas was crazy at work with a load of different mini projects and some major pieces of work due to be completed by the end of the year . I managed to walk out the door on the 19th with most things completed or as much done as we could possibly have done so I was able to get excited about my trip home for Christmas with no work stresses at all which was awesome.

After getting an upgrade on my last trip home I arrived at the counter in Doha full of hope and expectation of maybe snagging another one, but as the saying goes – it’s the hope that kills you and I boarded the flight and headed for my seat in economy slightly deflated but massively excited about getting home and seeing Joan, the girls and most of the whanau over the next few days.Read more
